All logs hand peeled (customers choice of Fir, Spruce, Pine or cedar) and of 13-14 inch mean diameter
Full Scandinavian scribe fit method, using saddle notch
Log walls nine feet high, or higher upon request
All wall pre-insulated with fiberglass, sheeps wool or em seal (customer's choice)
14"-22" Log ridge beams, purlins and posts cut to roof angle
Log beams and log floor joists cut level for the second floor
One set interior handcrafted log stairs
Interior log railings in pre-built in sections for stairs and lofts
Log roof system as per plans
Log trusses, where required for long spans
Log arches cut, sanded and chamfered
All log ends cut, sanded and chamfered
Window and door openings cut out, keywayed and chamfered
Full length through bolts at all corners and windows as required by engineering
Drift pins as required by engineering
Settling jacks where required
Pre drill and cut out for switch and electrical boxes
Interior wall slots cut and chamfered upon request
Bob Granberg to accompany and technically assist with the set up of the log package on the customers site
Log re-assembly takes 2-6 days depending on the size of the structure. After reassembly a qualified contractor can complete your home. A log specialist is not required as all the log work is done in our yard in Canada.
